Website design for Draper businesses

Draper borders Lehi, where I live and work, so I build for Draper service businesses as a neighbor. The build is $2,500, hosting is $100 a month, and the site is live 7 days after kickoff. You get a free homepage concept within 48 hours, and you only pay if you want the rest.

What does a Draper business need from its website?

Draper has grown fast. The 2020 census counted 51,017 residents, up from 7,143 in 1990. The city says more than 1,000 businesses operate inside its limits, and it counts itself part of the Silicon Slopes tech corridor. All of those new houses and offices need roofs, yards, furnaces and repairs from someone.

Draper is also an odd shape for a service area. It sits at the Point of the Mountain, the south end of Salt Lake Valley and the north end of Utah Valley, and the city actually spans both Salt Lake and Utah counties. The Point itself is one of the best-known paragliding spots in the country. TRAX and FrontRunner both stop in Draper, and the city notes that the Salt Lake and Provo airports are each about 30 minutes away by car.

For a trade business, that geography means your customers can come from either valley. A homeowner on the Utah County side and a property manager near the Draper Town Center TRAX station are searching for the same service with very different mental maps. Your site should make your range obvious on the first screen, then back it up with a page for each area.

What I focus on for Draper:

  • Clear service areas across both valleys.
  • Real photos of your trucks, crew and finished work.
  • Reviews placed next to the services they talk about.
  • A phone number and quote form that work perfectly on a phone.

How much does a website cost in Draper?

Most people ask about the build price and forget the monthly side, which is where costs pile up over the years. Gruffy Goat’s 2026 cost guide says basic care plans run $50 to $150 a month and hands-on plans usually run $150 to $350 a month, or $600 to $6,000 a year all in. The same guide puts freelancers at $1,500 to $8,000 for a custom build and boutique agencies at $6,000 to $35,000 or more.

My monthly hosting fee and my build fee are both in the price boxes below this section. Hosting is month to month, and the changes dashboard comes with the build, so you are not paying a care plan on top of it.

Can I see my site before I pay?

Yes. I do not ask a Draper owner to sign anything on trust. Send me a two-minute application, and within 48 hours you get the first screen of your homepage, built with your own pictures and reviews. It is free, and you are under no obligation to take it further.

Like it, and we book a 15-minute call to plan the remaining pages. Build week runs seven days, and the finished site is registered to you on launch day. The build fee also carries my 90-day money-back guarantee, and you keep the domain even if you ask for that refund.

Do you meet in person in Draper?

Yes. Draper shares a border with Lehi, so getting to your office or a job site is an easy drive for me. I am glad to meet face to face for the kickoff if you prefer that. Most of the build itself happens remotely by phone, email and video, which keeps it moving fast and means you never have to block off an afternoon.

Draper questions

Asked constantly. Answered honestly.

My customers are on both sides of the Point of the Mountain. One site or two? +

One site. I give it a service-area page for each part of both valleys you actually cover, from Sandy and South Jordan down to Lehi and Alpine if that is your range. One domain builds up reviews and search history in one place, and you only have one thing to keep current.

Can the site match my trucks, yard signs and uniforms? +

Yes. I build around the logo and colors you already use, so the site feels like the same company a homeowner saw parked on their street. If your branding is a bit rough, I can tidy it up for the web without changing it so much that customers stop recognizing you.

What happens to my site if you stop doing this someday? +

You keep it. The domain, the code and the content are registered in your name from day one. Any competent developer or host can pick the site up and run it. That is the reason I set things up this way: your best marketing asset should never depend on one person staying in business.

Can I add a page later, like a new service? +

Yes. Small edits like photos, prices and specials go through the plain-English dashboard that comes with the build. A brand-new page or feature is quoted flat, up front, before I start, so you know the number before you say yes. No hourly meter running in the background.
