What does an Orem business need from its website?
Orem counted 98,129 residents in the 2020 census, which made it the fifth-largest city in Utah. Its biggest employer is Utah Valley University, with about 3,030 staff in 2023, and the city’s economic development office puts the combined student count of UVU and nearby BYU at over 73,000. Timpanogos Regional Hospital and the Alpine School District are also on the list of top employers.
That mix creates a town full of people who are new here. Students move into apartments every August. Young families buy their first house and need a plumber, a cleaner or a fence for the first time. None of them grew up knowing which local company to call. They search on a phone, open two or three sites, and call the one that looks real and answers the question they have right now.
Getting around matters too. I-15 runs down the west side of Orem with four interchanges, and State Street (US-89) cuts through the middle on a diagonal. If your truck covers both sides of the freeway, say so in plain words, and name the parts of town you serve, so a homeowner by the UVU campus or out near Scera Park knows you come to them.
So an Orem service site needs a short list of things done well:
- A phone number you can tap from the first screen.
- Your own job photos and reviews, front and center.
- One page for each service you actually sell.
- A quote form that lands in your inbox, not a broker’s queue.
How much does a website cost in Orem?
The honest answer depends on whether you want a template or something built around your business. A 2026 guide from FactoryJet puts US freelancers at $1,500 to $5,000 up front and US agencies at $8,000 to $25,000, with monthly fees anywhere from $50 to $400 after launch. The same guide says that anything under $1,500 is usually a template with very little customization.
In a city where new residents compare several companies at once, a template that looks like ten others makes that comparison harder for you, not easier. My price is in the two boxes right below this section: one build fee, one monthly hosting fee, and that is the whole bill.
Can I see my site before I pay?
Yes. You fill out a two-minute application, and within 48 hours I send you the first screen of your new homepage, built from your real photos and reviews. It costs you nothing. If you like where it is going, we talk for 15 minutes about the rest of the site. If you do not, you have lost nothing and we part friendly.
When you do go ahead, build week starts, and on day 7 the site is live with the domain, code and content registered in your name. Then you get 90 days to run it. If you are not happy, I refund the build fee and you keep the domain and everything on it.
